Our Beliefs

God
There is one God. The Author of all Creation and the first Person in the Holy Trinity. The Father. He is Omniscient (knows all things), Omnipresent (present everywhere), and Omnipotent (Almighty, holds all power). He is perfect in His many attributes of holiness, love, power, knowledge, justice and mercy.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God. He is the Second person in the Holy Trinity. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. He is the Messiah, The Savior of the World. He was born of a virgin; as He walked the earth, He lived a sinless life, and He teaches mankind how to live a sanctified life. He offered Himself as the perfect Sacrifice so we can have the hope of eternal life in heaven, surrounded by His glory. Christ Jesus died on the cross for the atonement of our sins past, present, and future. He arose from the dead on the third day after His death, defeating death and sin. He ascended to heaven, is seated to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in the clouds to bring His people home.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third divine Person in the Holy Trinity. The Spirit of truth, He is equal to God and Jesus. He is ever-present within every Christian to counsel, instruct, and bring peace. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, promised by Jesus to those who believe in Him.
The Bible
The Bible is the infallible Word of God. There is no other Truth. The Bible is how God speaks to mankind. It is a book of divine instruction, comfort, advice, daily inspiration, and rebuke for our sins. The Bible reveals the truth about God and its greatest purpose is to reveal the living Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Salvation
The only way to redemption is through the Blood of Christ and the acceptance of Him as one’s Savior and Redeemer. Salvation is God’s free gift to those of us who believe in Him. We receive this gift through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Repentance means turning away from our sin and turning toward Christ. Faith means trusting in Christ alone for the forgiveness of our sins. Every person who truly is saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ and will spend eternity in heaven, while those who die in their sins will spend eternity in hell, separated from God.
Baptism in Water
Baptism in water is a confession of faith. It is a public testimony of a person's acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Savior. Baptism is given only to those who have truly believed in Jesus Christ and have repented from their sin. Baptism in water represents the cleansing of our sins. It marks a personal identification with Christ and is a covenant to live the life of a disciple before God.
Baptism with the Holy Spirit
Baptism with the Holy Spirit is given by God to those believers who ask for it, and received after one is saved. It is Power given to us by God to overcome any works of the flesh. The first sign of Baptism with the Holy Spirit is the speaking of tongues. Tongues are a way for our Spirit to communicate with God; Tongues with interpretation, are messages from God to His people.
Resurrection
Resurrection is one of the fundamental beliefs shared by Christians. It anchors our trust in God's saving grace through Jesus. When Jesus Christ rose from the dead His work of atonement, redemption, salvation and reconciliation was complete. His resurrection ensures the believers' will victoriously resurrect, be given a glorified body, raised in Power.
Eternal Life
Acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Savior comes with the promise of eternal life in His glory. By contrast, those who reject Him will have eternal damnation in Hell. Through Jesus’ resurrection we are free from sin’s power. He gives us the freedom to choose either to follow Him, or to follow Satan.
